If you're on the Yale Blvd strip you're a few minutes away by car and, from several hotels, close enough to walk. There's free parking either way, and you can eat at one place, get dessert at another and have a drink at a third without moving the car.

Perico's is fast, generous and cheap enough to expense without thinking about it — counter service. FMV Brewing upstairs is a better place to take a colleague than a hotel bar, with New Mexico beer on tap and a patio facing Downtown and the Sandias.
